thsmAth – thus
vayam – we
sa-bAndhavAn – with the relatives
dhArtharAshtrAn – dhuryOdhana et al
hanthum arhA: na – unable to kill them
mAdhava – Oh husband of SrI mahAlakshmi!
svajanam – ones own kinsmen
hathvA – killing
katham sukina: syAma – how we will be happy?

Simple Translation (based on puththUr krishNamAchArya swAmy’s thamizh translation)

Thus we are unable to kill dhuryOdhana et all who are with their relatives. Oh husband of SrI mahAlakshmi! How will one be happy by killing ones own kinsmen?

Rendering based on ALkoNdavilli gOvindhAchArya swAmy’s English translation of gIthA bhAshyam

Hence it is not meet for us to despatch the party of Dhṛitarāshtra along with our kinsmen. How, Mādhava1, can we be happy by slaying our own people?
