    • emperumAnAr (based on vEdha vyAsa’s brahma sUthram), in his SrI bhAshyam, identified the defects and condemned the (nirISvara) sAnkhya philosophy (sAnkhya philosophy which rejects bhagavAn’s existence) that was preached by kapila. There is also another kapila muni (who is an incarnation of emperumAn) identified in SrI bhAgavatham who explained the principle of sESvara sAnkhya (sAnkhya philosophy which includes bhagavAn’s existence) which is accepted – though not discussed much in great detail.
