nainam chindhanthi SasthrANi nainam dahathi pAvaka: |
na chainam klEdhayanthi ApO na Soshayathi mArutha: ||

SasthrANi – weapons (like knife etc)
Enam – this AthmA
na chindhanthi – cannot cut
pAvaka: – fire
Enam – this AthmA
na dhahathi – does not destroy by burning
Apa: – water
Enam – this AthmA
na klEdhayanthi – does not destroy by dissolving
mArutha: – wind
Enam – this AthmA
na SOshayathi – does not destroy by withering
