klaibyam mA sma gama: pArtha naithath thvayyupapadhyathE |
kshUdhram hrudhaya dhaurbalyaṁ thyakthvoththishta paranthapa ||

pArtha – Oh son of kunthI!
klaibyam – cowardice
mA sma gama: – do not acquire

Oh son of kunthI! do not acquire cowardice because that does not befit your nature; Oh destroyer of enemies! rise up giving up the weakness in your mind.
