You perform your actions giving up attachment (towards kingdom, relatives etc), being equal minded on attaining and not attaining (victory etc) and being situated in yOga. Being equal minded (while attaining and not attaining victory etc) is said as yOga.<\/p>\n<h3>Rendering based on ALkoNdavilli gOvindhAchArya swAmy\u2019s English translation of gIthA bhAshyam<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8216;Equanimous, (<em>yogastha<\/em>), Dhana\u00f1jaya[1. An epithet for Arjuna, lit: &#8216;the despiser of wealth&#8217;.]! and without attachment, do works. The equal mindedness as regards fulfillment or failure, is called <em>yoga<\/em>.&#8217;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Poised in <em>Yoga<\/em> (steady-minded), and renouncing attachment for realm, relations etc., engage in acts such as war etc. Engage in it equally unconcerned whether success or failure may attend. This balanced attitude of the mind as regards successes or failures is called \u2018yoga\u2019.
