Chapter 4<\/a><\/p>\n << Chapter 4 verse 13.5<\/a><\/p>\n ithi mAm yO\u2019bhijAnAthi karmabhir na sa badhyathE ||<\/em><\/p>\n ithi – in this manner Whosoever knows me well in this manner, he is not bound by the sins (which are hurdles for the commencement of karma yOga)\u00a0 (it is implied that he will be relieved of such sins).<\/p>\n ‘Whoso, full well, knows Me thus, will not Thus<\/em>, i. e., (1) Me, as Author<\/em>, and yet No-author<\/em> in the way explained above; and (2) Me, the Non-concerned<\/em> in the fruits of karma (works) (iv-13.5<\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n Whoso understands Me, thus<\/em>, will not entangle himself in the past karmas<\/em>, which forge connections with fruits thereof. (i.e. By knowledge, one renders the karma-power nugatory in producing effects).
