Chapter 4<\/a><\/p>\n << Chapter 4 verse 33<\/a><\/p>\n thadhvidhdhi praNipAthEna paripraSnEna sEvayA |<\/em> praNipAthEna – by offering obeisances properly Know (from gyAnis (wise)) that transcendental knowledge by offering obeisances properly, by asking questions with proper attitude and by performing service; those gyAnis who have realised the knowledge about self (being pleased by your worship etc) will instruct the knowledge about self to you.<\/p>\n ‘By prostrations, by fair questionings and by service (sev\u0101<\/em>), know this. The truth-seeing Saints (j\u00f1anina\u1e25<\/em>) shall instruct you in wisdom.’<\/span><\/p>\n Know this<\/em>: that is, knowledge (or wisdom) relating to \u0101tma, propounded by Me in the verses, from : \u2018know that that<\/em> verily is imperishable etc.,\u2019 (ii-17<\/a>) up to:<\/span><\/p>\n \u2018This has been told you etc.,\u2019 (ii-39<\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n Learn this you, as, \u2014while engaged in prescribed work (or duties)\u2014 you advance; (acquire wisdom) or learn knowledge more and more \u2014as you progress in your work\u2014 from wise men, by due prostrations (falling at their feet, as a mark of veneration and humility); by timely questionings; and rendering them (all kinds of) service.<\/span><\/p>\n The wise, -the truth-seers- are those to whom \u0101tma is a demonstrated verity.
