One who performs karma yOga not having desire (for sensual pleasures) and not having hatred (towards those who stop such pleasures for him) and due to that, tolerating the pairs (of joy-sorrow, heat-cold etc), he is always fixated on knowledge. He only is easily well relieved from the bondage in samsAram.<\/p>\n<h3>Rendering based on ALkoNdavilli gOvindhAchArya swAmy\u2019s English translation of gIthA bhAshyam<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8216;He is to be known as ever <em>sanny\u0101si<\/em>[1. This term is applied to an ascetic or one who retires from the world. It means one who surceases from world&#8217;s activities, as well as Vedic ceremonies.], who neither hates nor craves. He who is above the \u2018pairs\u2019[2. The sense-contacts with external phenomena is sensations which are the sense-with-mind-contacts, \u2018cold-heat\u2019, etc., and then follow the reactions, pleasures and pains.], Mah\u0101-b\u0101ho[3. A war-name of Arjuna, lit: the &#8216;strong-armed&#8217;.]! easily escapes from bondage.&#8217;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <em>karma-yogi<\/em> who has experienced \u0101tma-bliss that is involved in <em>karma-yoga<\/em>, does not desire for anything else than \u0101tma. He has thus no occasion to hate anything. And therefore also is he one, capable of enduring the \u2018pairs\u2019[4. The sense-contacts with external phenomena is sensations which are the sense-with-mind-contacts, \u2018cold-heat\u2019, etc., and then follow the reactions, pleasures and pains.]. Such person is to be known as the constant <em>sanny\u0101si<\/em>, <em>i.e.<\/em>, as he who is the constant practicer of j\u00f1\u0101na (wisdom).
