Thus, they [mentioned in the beginning] are well situated in brahma.<\/p>\n<h3>Rendering based on ALkoNdavilli gOvindhAchArya swAmy\u2019s English translation of gIthA bhAshyam<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8216;By them, whose mind is fixed in (this) equality (or sameness), even here is migration (<em>sarga<\/em>) overcome. Verily is <em>brahma<\/em> (\u0101tma) stainless and equal. Hence are they fixed in <em>brahma<\/em>.&#8217;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Even here<\/em>=Even during the progress (of the Karma- yoga practice). <em>Sarga<\/em>=taking up of continued physical existences, is overcome. That is, <em>sams\u0101ra<\/em>[1. Lit: that which \u2018runs or courses\u2019; means the circuit or circle of wordly existence, mundane life, material existence, matter-tied or matter-consorting existence, conditioned secular career, or matter-soul existence, coursing through a transmigratory revolution of births and deaths alternating. In Indian terms, Purusha consorting with Prakriti (or spirit-matter combination).] (mundane life) is conquered by him, whose mind is imbued with the notion of equality of all \u0101tmas, as above described.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Brahma<\/em> or the \u0101tma-category is indeed equal (or equal-natured), when it is stainless, <em>i.e.<\/em>, divested from the stain accruing from matter-consorted existence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When their mind is fixed in the \u0101tma-equality, (it may then be considered that) they are fixed in \u0101tma itself.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Fixture in brahma<\/em> (<em>\u0101tma<\/em>) is indeed the victory over <em>sams\u0101ra<\/em>[2. Lit: that which \u2018runs or courses\u2019; means the circuit or circle of wordly existence, mundane life, material existence, matter-tied or matter-consorting existence, conditioned secular career, or matter-soul existence, coursing through a transmigratory revolution of births and deaths alternating.
