Chapter 6<\/a><\/p>\n << Chapter 6 verse 7<\/a><\/p>\n Simple<\/a><\/p>\n j\u00f1\u0101na-vij\u00f1\u0101na-t\u1e5bpt\u0101tm\u0101 ‘That (karma-)yogi is fit for yoga (yukta\u1e25<\/em>), whose mind is content with knowledge and higher knowledge; who is constant; who hath conquered the senses; and who looketh equally on a clod, a stone and on gold.[1. Cp, Bh: Gi: XIV-24<\/a>.]’<\/span><\/p>\n J\u00f1\u0101na<\/em> is knowledge or wisdom concerning the nature of \u0101tma. Vij\u00f1\u0101na<\/em> is higher knowledge concerning \u0101tma as contrasted with (the nature of) matter.<\/span><\/p>\n T\u1e5bipt-\u0101tm\u0101<\/em>: is he whose sole contentment abides in these two kinds of knowledge.<\/span><\/p>\n K\u016btastha\u1e25<\/em> = He who is constant, or who remains perpetually unchanging amidst the ever varying phenomenal conditions such as the conditioned form-existences as the being the devas<\/em>, etc. (He who contemplates on such stable<\/em> nature of \u0101tma is k\u016btastha\u1e25<\/em>).
