Chapter 6<\/a><\/p>\n << Chapter 6 verse 44<\/a><\/p>\n prayathnAdhyathamAnasthu yOgI samSudhdha kilbisha: |<\/em> thatha: – Thus (even having slipped in previous birth) Thus, being free from sins, being qualified to complete the yOga nicely, by the virtues from many previous births, the yOga practitioner who works by putting great efforts, (even having slipped in previous birth, in a subsequent birth) attains the great destination (of self-realisation).<\/p>\n ‘The sedulously exerting yogi becomes assoiled<\/a> of sin; and obtaining perfection after many births[1. Cp. Bh. Gita. VII-3<\/a>, and VII-19<\/a>.], thence<\/a> passes on to the Supreme State.’<\/span><\/p>\n Such is the greatness or virtue of this Yoga that merit goes on accumulating as man passes through many an incarnation, and purifying him by disengaging him from all defilement.<\/span><\/p>\n Thus does he become more and more competent for prosecuting Yoga.
