I give warmth, I absorb the rain water and give the rain water too; I am the entities which sustain and destroy people of the world, I am all the entities of the present, past and future.<\/p>\n<h3>Rendering based on ALkoNdavilli gOvindhAchArya swAmy\u2019s English translation of gIthA bhAshyam<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8216;I give heat; I send, and also hold back, rain; I am Immortality as well as Death; and Sat and Asat am I, Arjuna!&#8217;.[1. During the summer season etc., I hold back rain, and in the rainy season etc., I give it forth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I am Immortality=the Life by which the world lives. I am Death or that by which the world becomes destroyed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Not to be prolix, I am <em>Sat<\/em>=<em>Ens<\/em>, and <em>Asat<\/em>=Non-<em>ens<\/em>. <em>Sat<\/em>=Existence= that which exists in the present time. <em>Asat<\/em> = Non-existence=that which existed in the past, that which may exist in the future. I am thus He who exists in every mode in which the sum of things Intelligent and Non-intelligent, composing My body, exists.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The noble-souled (<em>Mah\u0101tmas<\/em>, referred to in <a href=\"https:\/\/githa.koyil.org\/index.php\/9-13\/\">verse 13<\/a>, <em>ante<\/em>) are, thus, those who contemplate Me as the Unity, corporeally manifesting Itself in multiformity and multeity, in the macrocosmic scene.
