Chapter 10<\/a><\/p>\n << Chapter 10 verse 10<\/a><\/p>\n Simple<\/a><\/p>\n te\u1e63\u0101m ev\u0101nukamp\u0101rtham ‘Solely, out of tender grace for them, Partha!, do I destroy their ignorance-born darkness, by the resplendent light of wisdom, filling the course of their thoughts.’<\/span><\/p>\n Out of compassion alone for them, I am present in their mind-functions (or mind-workings) as their chief Object (i.e., subject-matter of their thoughts). And there do I make manifest to them My Blessed Attributes.<\/span><\/p>\n The light<\/em> is Myself in his thoughts, \u2014the light of wisdom,\u2014 shining. The darkness is that begotten of ignorance, \u2014darkness to which men are long inured<\/a>. Ignorance is what is found in the shape of past Karma. This darkness is antagonistic to wisdom, and produces a desire for things other than Myself.
