Chapter 10<\/a><\/p>\n << Chapter 10 verse 10<\/a><\/p>\n thEshAm EvAnukampArtham aham agyAnajam thama: |<\/em> thEshAm – In those selfless bhakthi yOga nishtars (those who are engaged in bhakthi yOgam) (by revealing my auspicious qualities) In those selfless bhakthi yOga nishtars (those who are engaged in bhakthi yOgam), due to my mercy only, being the target of their heart, I destroy the darkness of ignorance (of attachment to worldly pleasures) which is a hurdle for knowledge, caused by sins coming from time immemorial, with the shining lamp of knowledge about me.<\/p>\n ‘Solely, out of tender grace for them, Partha!, do I destroy their ignorance-born darkness, by the resplendent light of wisdom, filling the course of their thoughts.’<\/span><\/p>\n Out of compassion alone for them, I am present in their mind-functions (or mind-workings) as their chief Object (i.e., subject-matter of their thoughts). And there do I make manifest to them My Blessed Attributes.<\/span><\/p>\n The light<\/em> is Myself in his thoughts, \u2014the light of wisdom,\u2014 shining. The darkness is that begotten of ignorance, \u2014darkness to which men are long inured<\/a>. Ignorance is what is found in the shape of past Karma. This darkness is antagonistic to wisdom, and produces a desire for things other than Myself.
