One who is engaging in karma as part of worshipping me, having me as the ultimate goal for his actions, due to having exclusive devotion towards me without which he\u00a0 cannot sustain and hence engaging in actions having me as the goal, having given up other results\/benefits and who is not inimical towards any creature, attains me truly.<\/p>\n<h3>Rendering based on ALkoNdavilli gOvindhAchArya swAmy\u2019s English translation of gIthA bhAshyam<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8216;Doing work <em>for<\/em> Me, having <em>Me<\/em> as Aim, being <em>My<\/em> votary, weaned from attachments, and exempt, P\u0101\u1e47\u1e0dava! from hating any one, he comes unto Me.&#8217;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Mat-karma-k\u1e5bit<\/em>= He who does work <em>for<\/em> Me=He who studies the Vedas and does all similar (spiritual) work, considering that it is all but several modes of worship rendered to Me.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Mat-parama\u1e25<\/em>= He who has <em>Me<\/em> as his Aim = He who looks on <em>Me<\/em> alone as his Supreme End, towards which every effort is to be directed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Mad-bhakta\u1e25<\/em>=My votary or lover=He to whom I am the Sole Object of aspiration or his only Hope; he who, out of his <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wiktionary.org\/wiki\/plenitude#Noun\">plenitude<\/a> of love for Me, is unable to live unless he is ever engaged in hymning Me, praising Me, meditating Me, worshipping Me, prostrating to Me, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Sanga-varjita\u1e25<\/em>=weaned from other attachments, on account of his love-attraction towards Me alone.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Nirvairas-sarva-bh\u016bteshu<\/em>=Hateless towards any creature. This arises from a three-fold consideration, viz:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Firstly; the <em>bhakta<\/em>&#8216;s only happiness consists in being with Me, and misery in being without Me. (Hence his concern is not with other creatures).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Secondly; The <em>bhakta<\/em> attributes all his afflictions to his own guilt. (Hence he has no reason to hate others).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thirdly: the <em>bhakta<\/em> has implicit faith in all beings being subject to God\u2019s Sovereign Rule and Providence. Hence he has no cause to attribute motives of harm as independently arising from any of his creatures).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hence the <em>bhakta<\/em> is exempt from all enmity.
