Chapter 12<\/a><\/p>\n << Chapter 12 verse 10<\/a><\/p>\n athaithadhapyaSakthO\u2019si karthum madhyOgam ASritha: |<\/em> atha – now Now, if you are unable to perform this activity (which is the beginning stage of bhakthi yOgam) of\u00a0pursuing bhakthi yOgam towards me, then, having a controlled mind,\u00a0give up the fruits of all activities (as part of being engaged in gyAna yOgam which will instill parabhakthi (full attachment to bhagavAn)).<\/p>\n ‘If, even to do this \u2014with a view to My union\u2014 you are unable, then, mind-controlling, resign all action\u2019s fruit.’<\/span><\/p>\n With a view to My union<\/em> (mad-yoga<\/em>): means adopting the Bhakti-Yoga, which demands all love being centered in Me alone. Whoso then, \u2014the follower of this Path,\u2014 always musing on My attributes, finds himself unable to perform all works for My<\/em> sake, \u2014from which procedure God-love would be born\u2014 then let him launch on akshara-yoga<\/em>, or the contemplation on soul-nature, \u2014described in the first six Lectures,\u2014 which would (gradually) engender Para-bhakti<\/em> (or God-love).<\/span><\/p>\n The resignation or renouncal of the fruits of action<\/em>, is preliminary, or the preparatory stage, to insure soul-vision.<\/span><\/p>\n Yat-\u0101tmav\u0101n<\/em> = yata-manaska\u1e25<\/em> = mind-controlling in this case, the mind made willing to do works without craving for fruition).<\/span><\/p>\n It is only to one, who is entirely cleansed of all his sins, that I<\/em> become the Object of Love. It is only such a person who would converge all the strength of his intellect (buddhi<\/em>) to Me (the Fullness of Love) as his sole Aim.<\/span><\/p>\n Thus, by performing actions \u2014which in truth are forms <\/p>\n It will be shown further on that \u2018By worshipping Him by his acts, man wins the Goal\u2019 (Gi:<\/em> XVIII-46<\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n \u2018Relinquishing, and freed from \u2018my-ness\u2019, and in repose, he is made fit to become like unto Brahm\u2019 ‘(Gi:<\/em> XVIII-53<\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n \u2018Become Brahm-like and clear-souled, he laments not and longs not; same to all beings, he does attain to My love supreme[1.
