style=\"text-align: center;\">NAMED,<\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">KSHETRA-KSHETRAJNA-VIBH\u0100GA-YOGA<\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">OR<\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">THE BOOK OF MATTER-SPIRIT DISTINCTION.<\/h2>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">PROEM<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IN the First Division comprising the First Six Lectures (Psychocrasy), it was shown that there were two Paths, <em>viz.<\/em>, Karma-Yoga and J\u00f1\u0101na-Yoga by which an aspirant can achieve actual soul-realization.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was also shown that such soul-realization or soul- cognition is ancillary (or stepping-stone) to God-Love known as Bhakti, or the Means by which to reach the Supreme Goal, <em>viz:<\/em>, the Blessed Lord V\u0101sudeva, Who is Parabrahm.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Next, in the Middle Division, (comprising the Six Lectures, Seven to Twelve, or Theocrasy), the Path of Bhakti or Bhakti-Yoga was propounded, \u2014 Bhakti or God-Love, intense and one-pointed, preceded by a true knowledge of the Blessed Lord, and His glory-full Greatness, \u2014 the Lord, the aspirant\u2019s Exalted End.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was also shown (in the Middle Division) that Bhakti-Yoga constitutes the Means (also) by which those, ambitious of acquiring wealth (<em>ai\u015bvarya<\/em>) and those aspiring for mere soul-enjoyment (<em>kaivalya<\/em>), can gain their respective desires.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And now in the present (and last) Division, comprising the Third Six Lectures (or Theo-Philosophy, XIII-XVIII.) the topics propounded in the First Two Divisions will be further examined, grouped under the heads of: matter and spirit (<em>prak\u1e5biti-purusha<\/em>), their union constituting the manifested Kosmos, the nature of I\u015bvara (God), the nature of (the Paths, -or Means of Salvation) Karma (works), of J\u00f1\u0101na (knowledge), and of Bhakti (Love or Devotion), and how to acquire (and practise) these several Methods.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Of this Third Division, the Thirteenth Lecture undertakes to discuss the following points:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The nature of body (matter) and soul;<\/li>\n<li>The examination into the nature of body (matter);<\/li>\n<li>The means by which to realize the soul (<em>chit<\/em>) in distinction from body (matter or <em>achit<\/em>);<\/li>\n<li>The examination into the nature of soul as discriminated from body (matter);<\/li>\n<li>The cause of such distinctive soul\u2019s association with matter
