it is capable of knowing all things through actions of sense organs<br \/>\nsarvEndhriya vivarjitham &#8211; (in its natural state) it is capable of knowing everything even without the sense organs<br \/>\nasaktham &#8211; (naturally) not connected to different types of bodies such as dhEva (celestial), manushya (human), thiryak (animal) and sthAvara (plant)<br \/>\nsarvabruth cha Eva &#8211; capable of assuming all types of bodies<br \/>\nnirguNam &#8211; (naturally) without the qualities such as sathva (goodness), rajas (passion) and thamas (ignorance)<br \/>\nguNa bhOkthru cha &#8211; capable of enjoying such qualities<\/p>\n<h3>Simple Translation<\/h3>\n<p>[AthmA ] it is capable of knowing all things through actions of sense organs; (in its natural state) it is capable of knowing everything even without the sense organs; it is (naturally) not connected to different types of bodies such as dhEva (celestial), manushya (human), thiryak (animal) and sthAvara (plant); it is capable of assuming all types of bodies; it is (naturally) without the qualities such as sathva (goodness), rajas (passion) and thamas (ignorance); it is capable of enjoying such qualities.<\/p>\n<h3>Rendering based on ALkoNdavilli gOvindhAchArya swAmy\u2019s English translation of gIthA bhAshyam<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8216;Shining with all the sense-faculties, without all the senses; unaffected, assuming all; gu\u1e47a-less, gu\u1e47a-tasting.&#8217;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Shining with all sense-faculties:<\/em> that which is capable of shining or functioning with all the faculties of the senses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Sense-faculties<\/em>=Sense-activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The meaning is that with such faculties also, it (soul) is capable of perceiving objects;
