INTRODUCTION<\/h3>\n

IN the Thirteenth Lecture, it was shown that by comprehending<\/a> the real nature of the mutually related verities of Prak\u1e5biti and Purusha, and then practicing the virtues of Reverence etc., (XIII-7<\/a>. ff), sanctified by the Grace of the Blessed Lord, obtained through Bhakti (XIII-10), release from bondage would result. And it was also there made mention of that the cause of bondage was traceable, to concatenated antecedents of attachments for satva and other gu\u1e47a-impregnate (material) pleasures, viz:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Attachment to qualities is the cause of births in good and evil wombs\u2019. (Gi:<\/em> XIII-21<\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n

In this Lecture, it is proposed to treat of how the qualities (gu\u1e47as) come to bind, and how deliverance therefrom may be effected<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
