whosoever<br \/>\nudhAsInavath AsIna: &#8211; remaining unconcerned (on matters other than AthmA as explained previously)<br \/>\nguNai: &#8211; by the three qualities<br \/>\nna vichAlyathE &#8211; not changed (due to like and dislike)<br \/>\n&#8220;guNA: varthanthE&#8221; &#8211; &#8220;the three qualities are the cause (for the effect such as knowledge etc)&#8221;<br \/>\nithi &#8211; considering that<br \/>\nya: &#8211; whosoever<br \/>\navathishtathi Eva &#8211; remain silent<br \/>\nna ingathE &#8211; does not act (based on those qualities)<br \/>\n(he is the one who has transcended the three qualities).<\/p>\n<h3>Simple Translation<\/h3>\n<p>Whosoever is not changed by the three qualities, remaining unconcerned (on matters other than AthmA as explained previously), whosoever remains silent considering &#8220;the three qualities are the cause (for the effect such as knowledge etc)&#8221; and does not act (based on those qualities), is the one who has transcended the three qualities.<\/p>\n<h3>Rendering based on ALkoNdavilli gOvindhAchArya swAmy\u2019s English translation of gIthA bhAshyam<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8216;Sitting unconcerned, whoso is by qualities not <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wiktionary.org\/wiki\/ruffled#Adjective\">ruffled<\/a>, whoso calmly reflects: \u201cthe qualities revolve,\u201d is not disturbed.&#8217;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Like one <em>unconcerned<\/em> (<em>ud\u0101s\u012bnavat<\/em>), because his delight consists in \u0101tma-vision, and therefore he is indifferent to anything else.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whoso is never agitated by desires and aversions which the qualities beget;
