That supreme light is mine.<\/p>\n<h3>Rendering based on ALkoNdavilli gOvindhAchArya swAmy\u2019s English translation of gIthA bhAshyam<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8216;<em>That<\/em> which the sun <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wiktionary.org\/wiki\/illume\">illumes<\/a> not, nor the moon nor fire; <em>That<\/em>, My supreme light, going <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wiktionary.org\/wiki\/whence\">whence<\/a> they return not.'[1. Vide, <em>Kath: Up:<\/em> II-4-9; and Mu\u1e47\u1e0d: Up: II-2-11.]<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That \u0101tma-light, no sun can illuminate (by its light), nor the moon nor the fire; for intelligence (or wisdom) indeed is that which gives light to all. The external luminaries are only so far helpful as to scatter the obscurity that intervenes between the senses and their objects. What illumines (or reveals) this \u2014viz., \u0101tma\u2014 is Yoga.[2.
