Chapter 15<\/a><\/p>\n << Chapter 15 verse 5<\/a><\/p>\n na thadh bhAsayathE sUryO na SaSAnkO na pAvaka: |<\/em> yadh gathvA – after reaching where That light of jIvAthmA, after reaching where, there is no return (to samsAram for those who reached there), is not illuminated by the sun, moon and fire. That supreme light is mine.<\/p>\n ‘That<\/em> which the sun illumes<\/a> not, nor the moon nor fire; That<\/em>, My supreme light, going whence<\/a> they return not.'[1. Vide, Kath: Up:<\/em> II-4-9; and Mu\u1e47\u1e0d: Up: II-2-11.]<\/span><\/p>\n That \u0101tma-light, no sun can illuminate (by its light), nor the moon nor the fire; for intelligence (or wisdom) indeed is that which gives light to all. The external luminaries are only so far helpful as to scatter the obscurity that intervenes between the senses and their objects. What illumines (or reveals) this \u2014viz., \u0101tma\u2014 is Yoga.[2.
