Chapter 16<\/a><\/p>\n << Chapter 16 Verse 11<\/a><\/p>\n ASApASaSathair badhdhA: kAmakrOdhaparAyaNA: |<\/em> (The demoniac people) Being bound by hundreds of ropes known as desires and being well engaged in lust and anger, the demoniac people yearn for collection of wealth through wrong means, to gratify their lust.<\/p>\n ‘Bound by the bonds of a hundred hopes, and given up to lust and wrath, (they) un-justly yearn for hoarding up wealth to minister to gratify (their) lust.’<\/span><\/p>\n The bounds or bonds are those of hopes, by which they are fettered<\/a>. They are wholly devoted to passions, the cultivation and gratification thereof constituting the highest calls of life (nish\u1e6dh\u0101<\/em>).
