Chapter 16<\/a><\/p>\n << Chapter 16 Verse 22<\/a><\/p>\n ya: SAsthravidhim uthsrujya varthathE kAmakAratha: |<\/em> ya: – One who One who is acting on his own desire, discarding my orders of vEdham, does not attain any goal such as birth in heaven etc in his next birth. He does not attain happiness in this birth as well. He does not attain the ultimate goal (of attaining me) as well.<\/p>\n ‘Whoso discarding \u015a\u0101stra\u2019s rubric, freely roams at will, he attains not to perfection, nor happiness nor Highest Goal.’<\/span><\/p>\n \u015a\u0101stra<\/em> = Vedas (= the Inspired knowledge of Revealed Religion)<\/span><\/p>\n Vidhi<\/em> =Rubric= a Scriptural injunction.<\/span><\/p>\n Vedas are My Mandates.
