Chapter 17<\/a><\/p>\n << Chapter 17 Verse 2<\/a><\/p>\n Simple<\/a><\/p>\n sattv\u0101nur\u016bp\u0101 sarvasya ‘The faith of every one, Bh\u0101rata! accords with his mind; one is saturated with faith; of what one is, he is that.'[1. \u2018Desire first fathers the thought, and then thought woos belief\u2019 says Alger.]<\/span><\/p>\n Satvam<\/em>=Anta\u1e25-kara\u1e47am<\/em>=(The inner-sense), the mind. As is the mind, so is the faith of every person; in other words, whatever quality is the mind conjoined with, faith is begot for such things as are of that quality. The term satvam<\/em> (mind) implies the body and the senses mentioned afore-said (See Comm: Stanza[2. TBD.]).<\/span><\/p>\n \u015araddh\u0101maya\u1e25<\/em> or the man saturated with faith<\/em>: means that man is the embodiment of faith itself.<\/span><\/p>\n Of whatever faith he is united to, into that faith he becomes transformed.
