Chapter 17<\/a><\/p>\n << Chapter 17 Verse 6<\/a><\/p>\n AhAras thvapi sarvasya thrividhO bhavathi priya: |<\/em> sarvasya – for all living entities For all living beings, food too is dear based on the three categories (sathva, rajas and thamas); so are sacrifices, penances and charities; listen (from me) the variances (based on sathva etc qualities) in food, sacrifices, penances and charities.<\/p>\n ‘To all (beings) food also is three-fold and liked (by them). So are Sacrifice, Austerity, Charity.
