Vide: <em>Yoga-tatvoponishat:<\/em> &#8220;Yoga-vighna-karm\u0101h\u0101ram varjayed yogavittama\u1e25, lava\u1e47am sa\u1e5bshapam ch-\u0101mlam ush\u1e47am ruksh\u1e47an cha etc.&#8221;]<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Y\u0101tay\u0101mam<\/em> = Stale or very old (kept over-night, or literally old by a y\u0101ma or three hours). <em>Gata-rasam<\/em> = changed or that which has lost its (original) natural taste. <em>P\u016bti<\/em> = Stinking or that which emits a strong offensive smell. <em>Paryushitam<\/em> = Putrid or corrupted into a different taste by long standing. <em>Ucc\u1e25ishtam<\/em> = Refuse or leavings after food has been eaten by others except Gurus (=spiritual teachers, and other privileged (holy) persons). <em>Amedhyam<\/em> = Foul, or that which is to be considered impure by not having been consecrated at a Yaj\u00f1a.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Such foods are dear to those who are Tamas-full.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Bhojana<\/em> = Food, because it is that which is eaten (<em>bhujyate<\/em>). Tamas-food eaten breeds still Tamas.
