Chapter 17<\/a><\/p>\n << Chapter 17 Verse 24<\/a><\/p>\n thadhithi anabhisandhAya palam yagyathapa:kriyA: |<\/em> mOksha kAnkshibhi: – by those [brAhmaNas, kshathriyas, vaiSyas] who desire mOksham With the recital of “thath” (which is the name of brahmam<\/a>), yagyas, penances and charities are performed in many ways without expecting result [other than mOksham] by those [brAhmaNas, kshathriyas, vaiSyas] who desire mOksham.<\/p>\n ‘With TAT, are acts of Yaj\u00f1a, Tapas, and of Gift, performed by Moksha-aspirants, wishing not for fruit.’<\/span><\/p>\n Whatever acts, Veda-learning, Yaj\u00f1a, Tapas and Gifts are done by the Moksha-aspiring Three Castes, they are designated by the word TAT, since they are means to attain Brahm, \u2014TAT Signifying Brahm. That TAT signifies Brahm is evident from such authority as:<\/span><\/p>\n \u2018Sa(\u1e25), Va\u1e25, Ka\u1e25, Kim, yat Tat, (denote) the Most Supreme.\u2019[1.
