That hOma (yagya, sacrifice), dhAnam (charity) and the penance which is performed (that) without faith is said to be as &#8220;asath&#8221;; that neither leads to mOksham (liberation) nor to any materialistic benefit.<\/p>\n<h3>Rendering based on ALkoNdavilli gOvindhAchArya swAmy\u2019s English translation of gIthA bhAshyam<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8216;What without faith is given, what Tapas done, and what is done, (Yaj\u00f1a) is called A-SAT, P\u0101rtha! which is neither for here nor for hereafter.&#8217;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Even if it be according to \u015a\u0101stra-ordinance, but if it be without faith, Homa etc., done, is called A-SAT.
