That dhruthi with which one with an evil intellect sustains the acts of mind, vital air etc which cause dream, (sleepiness), jaggedness etc and the acts of mind, vital air etc which cause fear, sorrow, grief etc, is caused by thamO guNam.<\/p>\n ‘That is T\u0101masa-Purpose, P\u0101rtha! by which the Svapnam<\/em> = slumber, or sleep.<\/span><\/p>\n Madam<\/em> = folly arising from the enjoyment of objects. The fool or the ill-wise man (durmedh\u0101\u1e25<\/em>) does not hinder the mind and other life-forces in him dragging him into sleep and surrounding him with fancies.
