Tait: Up\u00b0:<\/em> VI-10 22. <em>Also Mu\u1e47\u1e0d: Up:<\/em> III-2-6. \u2018Ved\u0101nta-vij\u00f1\u0101na &amp;c.\u2019] = Knowledge of the higher and lower Truths or Verities of the Kosmos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Vij\u00f1\u0101nam<\/em>[2. <em>Cp. Tait: Up\u00b0:<\/em> VI-10 22. <em>Also Mu\u1e47\u1e0d: Up:<\/em> III-2-6. \u2018Ved\u0101nta-vij\u00f1\u0101na &amp;c.\u2019] = Wisdom, or knowledge relating to the characteristics or attributes of these Verities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>\u0100stikyam<\/em> = Faith = Implicit belief and trust in all the averments of the Vedas; \u2014such that it remains impregnable against any attempt to shake it. This firm conviction consists (in the main) in the belief that:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>V\u0101sudeva is Bhagav\u0101n, the Purushottama, and Para-brahma.<\/li>\n<li>He is Beyond all evil.<\/li>\n<li>He is possessed of the countless Illustrious Attributes, such as Omniscience, Omnipotence etc, which are <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wiktionary.org\/wiki\/innate#Adjective\">innate<\/a> and transcendent.<\/li>\n<li>He is the Object of knowledge to be known by all the Ved\u0101ntas[3. 6p: <em>Ka\u1e6dh: Up:<\/em> &#8220;Sarve Ved\u0101 yat-padam \u0101mananti&#8221;.].<\/li>\n<li>He is the Sole Cause of the infinite Kosmos.<\/li>\n<li>He is the Sole Prop of the infinite Kosmos.<\/li>\n<li>He is the Sole Director of all Kosmic operations.<\/li>\n<li>All Veda-enjoined duties are but various Modes of His worship.<\/li>\n<li>And so worshipped, He confers on men, each according to the terms of his petition, their several wants such as Dharma, Artha, K\u0101ma and Moksha[4.
