Chapter 18<\/a><\/p>\n << Chapter 18 Verse 61<\/a><\/p>\n tham Eva SaraNam gachcha sarvabhAvEna bhAratha |<\/em> bhAratha – Oh descendant of bharatha clan! Oh descendant of bharatha clan! Follow the supreme lord (me) in all manner; by his mercy, you will attain freedom from all bondage and paramapadham which is the eternal abode of liberation.<\/p>\n ‘With all the soul, Bh\u0101rata! seek Him as (your) Refuge. By his Grace shall you attain to supreme peace, and eternal state.’<\/span><\/p>\n Such being the case (referring to Stanza 61<\/a> ante<\/em>), with all your soul (or being), fly for Refuge to Him, \u2014Him the Governor of all, \u2014Him Who governs you by saying: \u2018Do thus etc.,\u2019 \u2014Him, indeed who out of love for his creatures has condescended even to become your Charioteer.<\/span><\/p>\n Seek Him as Refuge = Follow Him or His directions in every way; i.e.,<\/em> carry out all His injunctions such as prosecuting the (impending) war etc., as, even when you will otherwise, you will find yourself unable to carry out your mind prompted as you will be, \u2014ignorant as you are,\u2014 by his m\u0101y\u0101; and that will lead to your perishment. Obedience to Him, on the other hand, shall by His grace, procure for you supreme peace<\/em>, or cessation of all karma-bonds, and also Eternal State<\/em> or the Immortal Empyrean.<\/span><\/p>\n \u015arutis by the hundred declare thus:<\/span><\/p>\n \u2018That is Vish\u1e47u\u2019s exalted Empyrean, which Saints ever see\u2019[1.
