By your grace (my) contradictory knowledge is destroyed; true knowledge is acquired by me; being freed from doubts, I am standing firm, with realisation of truth; I will act according to your instructions (to fight the battle).<\/p>\n<h3>Rendering based on ALkoNdavilli gOvindhAchArya swAmy\u2019s English translation of gIthA bhAshyam<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Arjuna now exclaimed:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8216;By Your Grace, Achyuta! infatuation has left me and wisdom has been gained. I now sit with all doubts dispelled. I am settled. I will do Your <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wiktionary.org\/wiki\/bidding#Noun\">bidding<\/a>.&#8217;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Moha<\/em> = Infatuation, illusion or folly; means the obfuscation of true knowledge (<em>vipar\u012bta-j\u00f1\u0101na<\/em>), or perverted knowledge. By Your Grace, this has vanished.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Sm\u1e5biti<\/em> = Wisdom or enlightenment concerning the true nature of spiritual verities (<em>tatvam<\/em>). And this has been obtained by me by Your Grace alone.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Moha<\/em> or Infatuation is the love of self that is misplaced in not-self, or matter. It is the conceiving of the Kosmos of Sentients (<em>chit<\/em>) and Insentients (<em>achit<\/em>), which constitute Paramapurusha\u2019s body \u2014whose Soul He is\u2014 as not so constituted and not so Ensouled. It (<em>Moha<\/em>) is also the misconception of the nature of karma, <em>nitya<\/em> and <em>naimittika<\/em>, as if it led to bondage instead of its being the Mode of Paramapurusha\u2019s Worship and the Means of reaching Him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Sm\u1e5biti<\/em> or <em>J\u00f1\u0101na<\/em> or wisdom consists in knowing that \u0101tma is distinct from matter; is different in nature from matter; is essentially intelligent; is leige to Paramapurusha; and is solely under His direction. It also consists in knowing that Paramapurusha is the Dramatist of the Infinite Kosmos\u2019s origination, duration and dissolution; He is the Antithesis of all evil; He is essentially Blessed; He the mighty Ocean of such Illustrious Attributes as Omniscience, Omnipotence, Empire, Power, Energy, Lustre etc; Who is called Parabrahm. It also consists in knowing that You, V\u0101sudeva, are Paramapurusha; are He Who is knowable by the Ved\u0101ntas, Who is to be reached by Love Devotional \u2014known as Bhakti, Bhakti being culturable by the \u0101tma-qualities such as external and internal restraints (<em>\u015bama<\/em> and <em>\u1e0dama<\/em>), overcoming barriers in the way of discharging the <em>nitya<\/em> and <em>naimittika<\/em> duties solely intended as acts done to endear oneself to Paramapurusha, \u2014a Love which is developed by the possessing of the knowledge of higher and lower Truths (<em>tatvas<\/em>)\u2014 and reducing such knowledge to daily practice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hence I am freed from doubts, and I am relieved from all the grief that perverted knowledge <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wiktionary.org\/wiki\/beget#Verb\">begets<\/a>, \u2014perverted knowledge bred by wrong ideas of relationship, friendship, and pity (I was <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wiktionary.org\/wiki\/wont#Noun\">wont<\/a> to entertain towards such persons as Bh\u012bshma, Duryodhana etc). But I am now freed from such doubts; I am now settled.
