Yet other karma yOgis engage the sense objects such as sound etc in the sacrificial fire of sensory organs (i.e., they try to fully restrain from sense gratification).

‘Others sacrifice the sense-objects: sound etc, into the sense-fires.’
Other (karma)-yogis strive to calm, quell, restrain the appetites which the senses feel towards gratifying themselves by coming in contact with their respective objects.[1. Gītābhāshya(1969) by Śrī M.R.Sampatkumāran: “Other yogins strive to prevent the addiction of the senses to sound and such other objects of the senses.” Footnote from same work: “The restraint of the senses (mentioned in the previous verse), Tātparya Chandrika explains, is keeping them away from their objects. The offering of the objects of the senses (in this verse) as oblations into the fires of the senses is to make them disregard their objects as of little importance even when they are near.
