bījaṁ māṁ sarva-bhūtānāṁ
viddhi pārtha sanātanam
buddhir buddhimatām asmi
tejas tejasvinām aham

‘The primeval Seed of all beings, Pārtha[1. Name of Arjuna.]! know Me (to be). The wisdom of the wise, I am; and the lustre of the illustrious, (I am).’
