aṇor aṇīyāṁsam anusmared yaḥ
sarvasya dhātāram acintya-rūpam
āditya-varṇaṁ tamasaḥ parastāt
‘Whoso thinks on Him, The Omniscient, the Ancient, The Ruler, The Subtler of the subtile, the Creator of all, of Ineffable Form, of the Color of the sun[1. Cp. Purusha-sūkta I-7. (Vedāham etam Purusham Mahāntam Ādityavarṇam tamasas-tu pāre &c); Chh: Up: 1-6-6 (ya eshontar-āditye hiraṇ mayaḥ Purusho) &c.], and the Beyond of tamas.’
