Rendering based on ALkoNdavilli gOvindhAchArya swAmy’s English translation of gIthA bhAshyam
‘With the sword of wisdom, then, Bhārata[1. Arjuna, descendant of Bharata.]!, cleaving all this ignorance-born doubt settling in your heart, arise, and practice (karma) yoga.’
With the sword of ātma-wisdom, therefore, as imparted by Me, sever all the long-standing ignorance-born doubts concerning ātma, harbouring in your bosom, and take yourself to practicing karma-yoga in the manner that I have inculcated.
To carry out My injunctions, then, arise, O Bhārata[2. Arjuna, descendant of Bharata.]!
