Simple Translation
Oh most merciful! Oh lord of dhEvas (such as brahmA et al)! Oh the refuge for the whole world! I have become blissful having seen the amazing form which has never been seen before; also my heart has become troubled and is frightened (as a result of seeing such fierce form); thus, please show your merciful form (which was seen before your assuming the universal form) to me and bless me.
Rendering based on ALkoNdavilli gOvindhAchArya swAmy’s English translation of gIthA bhAshyam
‘Sighting what never before was sighted, I am glad (in heart), but troubled in mind. Your other Form, show Me, Lord!; O Lord of lords! have mercy, O world’s Asylum!.’
Beholding Your Most Marvellous and Awful Form, I am satisfied, but my mind is filled with fear. Deign therefore to transform Yourself into Your other benign Presence. O God of gods, —viz: of even Brahmā! O Abode of the Kosmos! show me grace.
