saktāḥ karmaṇy avidvāṁso
yathā kurvanti bhārata
kuryād vidvāṁs tathāsaktaś
cikīrṣur loka-saṅgraham

‘Like the unwise, attached to works, act, Bhārata! (but) let the wise, in the interests of the world, also act, but unattached.’
