tataḥ śaṅkhāś ca bheryaś ca
paṇavānaka-gomukhāḥ
sahasaivābhyahanyanta
sa śabdas tumulo ’bhavat

“(Following suit), there rang in the air deafening notes sent from other conches, drums and tabors (paṇava), trumpets (ānaka) and cowhorns (gomukha).”
