SlOkam – Original

sarvamEthadhrutham manyE yan mAm vadhasi kESava |
na hi thE bhagavan vyakthim vidhur dhEvA na dhAnavA: ||

word-by-word meaning

kESava – Oh kESava!
mAm – to me
yath vadhasi – explaining about your wealth and auspicious qualities
sarvam Ethath – all of these
rutham manyE – I believe to be true.

(Thus)
bhagavan – Oh one who is complete in gyAnam (knowledge), Sakthi (ability) etc!
thE vyakthim – to even speak about you
dhEvA – dhEvas (celestial beings)
na hi vidhu – will not know!
dhAnavA – asuras and rAkshasas (demoniac)
na hi vidhu – will not know!

Simple Translation

Oh kESava! I believe all of these wealth and auspicious qualities of yours which you are explaining to me, to be true. Oh one who is complete in gyAnam (knowledge), Sakthi (ability) etc! Neither the dhEvas (celestial beings) nor the asuras and rAkshasas (demoniac) will know to even speak about you.

Rendering based on ALkoNdavilli gOvindhAchArya swAmy’s English translation of gIthA bhAshyam

‘All that you tell Me, Keśava! I take to be true, for neither the Devas nor the Dānavas, Lord! understand Your manifestations.’

I take, that all that You say is but fact, not a mere (poetic) description; —all that You tell me of your extraordinary and infinite native glory and illustrious attributes. Hence, O Lord! —Treasure of the matchless qualities of wisdom, power, strength, dominion, energy, and lustre!,— the Devas (celestials), and the Dānavas (evil spirits), who are of limited understandings, know You not.
