Simple Translation

This AthmA, engaging his five sense organs ears, eyes, body, tongue and nose in their respective sense such as hearing, sight, touch, taste and smell, and the mind (which controls these), enjoys those matters.

Rendering based on ALkoNdavilli gOvindhAchArya swAmy’s English translation of gIthA bhAshyam

‘Presiding over hearing, sight, touch, taste and
smell, and manas, it (soul) enjoys sense-objects.’

Ruling these senses in such manner as they are fitted to function, the soul enjoys their appropriate objects, viz., sound etc.
