Simple Translation (based on puththUr krishNamAchArya swAmy’s thamizh translation)
(The demoniac people) Being tossed about by various thoughts, being surrounded with various confusions, being deeply engaged in sensual pleasures, (dying amidst such situation) fall into the unclean hellish regions.
Rendering based on ALkoNdavilli gOvindhAchArya swAmy’s English translation of gIthA bhAshyam
Deluding themselves into the belief that without the help of an unseen Īśvara(=God), they are themselves capable of accomplishing everything, they are restlessly pitched about by such foolish thoughts as:- ‘Thus will I do,’ ‘And this will I do’ ‘ And that other will I do,’ and so on. And in this way are they caught in the trap of folly, and well steeped in the enjoyments of lust, they are in the meanwhile snatched away by death, and flung into a foul infernum.
