Simple Translation

Oh pArtha! Ignorant persons who are engaged in discussing about results such as svargam etc, who would say “there is nothing beyond svargam”, would speak a lot of flowery words which are like those flowers that do not bear fruit, but look nice from outside.

Rendering based on ALkoNdavilli gOvindhAchArya swAmy’s English translation of gIthA bhAshyam

‘The unwise, Pārtha![1. Arjuna’s name.] who talk such flowery language are those who are addicted to Veda-praised rewards, and who argue: “Nothing else exists.”‘
