Simple Translation (based on puththUr krishNamAchArya swAmy’s thamizh translation)

Even if you are a greater sinner than all sinners, you will cross-over all those ocean of sins with the boat of knowledge about self.

Rendering based on ALkoNdavilli gOvindhAchArya swAmy’s English translation of gIthA bhAshyam

‘Were you an evil-doer, even greater than the
greatest sinners, you should yet, with this wisdom-bark, swim across (the sea of) evil.’

Supposing that you were a sinner greater than the greatest sinners, you would yet be able to cross the sea of long-hoarded sins, by means of the bark of ātma-wisdom (or ātma-knowledge).
