(With those eyes)
mE aiSvaram yOgam paSya – You see the auspicious qualities and wealth which are present with me, the ISvara, exclusively
Simple Translation (based on puththUr krishNamAchArya swAmy’s thamizh translation)
I am giving you divine eyes which are different from these material eyes, since you cannot see with these eyes of yours. With those eyes, you can see the auspicious qualities and wealth which are present with me, the ISvara, exclusively.
Rendering based on ALkoNdavilli gOvindhAchArya swAmy’s English translation of gIthA bhAshyam
‘By your this eye alone, you will not indeed be
able to see Me: I grant you the Divine eye1: See My Sovereign Yoga.’
I shall reveal My Kosmic glory, all confined but to a small space in My frame. But with your physical eye, fitted only to see limited and conditioned objects, you will not be able to realize that sight, unique, beyond example, and beyond measure. Hence let Me confer on you that Divya or spiritual (immaterial) eye, capable of seeing Me.
See My Sovereign Yoga; Sovereign means: matchless or extraordinary. Yoga=(i) the assemblage or juncture of attributes, Omniscience etc., and (2) the centre of all displayed magnificence (vibhūti).
