yām imāṁ puṣpitāṁ vācaṁ
pravadanty avipaścitaḥ
veda-vāda-ratāḥ pārtha
nānyad astīti vādinaḥ

‘The unwise, Pārtha![1. Arjuna’s name.] who talk such flowery language are those who are addicted to Veda-praised rewards, and who argue: “Nothing else exists.”‘
