Simple Translation
sanjaya said – dhuryOdhana the king, after seeing the army of pANdavas that was lined up, approached dhrONAchArya and spoke the following words to him at that time.

Sañjaya replied:–“King Duryodhana (your son), surveying the Pāṇḍava forces arranged for battle, approached his preceptor (Droṇa)[5. The Brāhmaṇa instructor of the Pāṇḍavas and the Kauravas in military sciences.] and addressed him thus:–
