atha – after the roaring of both armies
kapidhvaja: – arjuna who has hanuman in his flag
Sasthra sampAthE pravruththE sathi – when the battle began
vyavasthithAn dhArtharAshtrAn dhrushtvA – towards the sons of dhritharAshtra who are standing in the front row
dhanu: – his bow gANdIva
udhyamya – Lifting up
