arjuna uvāca
dṛṣṭvedaṁ mānuṣaṁ rūpaṁ
tava saumyaṁ janārdana
idānīm asmi saṁvṛttaḥ
sa-cetāḥ prakṛtiṁ gataḥ
‘Seeing this, Thy pleasing human Form, Janārdana![1. The 128th name of God; vide Sahasra-nāma-bhāshya.] I am now serene and restored to my normal self.’
After gazing on this —Thyself in human vesture,— a Figure lovely to witness, and extraordinary as indexing the personal beauties of comeliness, tenderness, grace etc., my mind (or heart) has acquired placidity, and I feel like myself again.
