7.9 puṇyo gandhaḥ pṛthivyāṁ ca (Original)

SrI: SrImathE SatakOpAya nama: SrImathE rAmAnujAya nama: SrImath varavaramunayE nama:

puṇyo gandhaḥ pṛthivyāṁ ca
tejaś cāsmi vibhāvasau
jīvanaṁ sarva-bhūteṣu
tapaś cāsmi tapasviṣu

‘And, the odour of the earth, and the glow of the fire, I am. The life in all beings, and the austerity[3. Meditation combined with mortification of the flesh.] of the austere (tapasvi) I am.’
